# Content checks

> How Daoco checks shared and published content in the background.

Daoco's [acceptable-use terms](https://daoco.org/tos) prohibit exploitation,
harassment, deceptive impersonation, fraud, rights violations, and other harmful
uses. The rules apply to content you upload and to content Daoco makes.

## What gets checked

When content leaves Daoco, Daoco keeps a copy of that version and checks it
afterwards:

* a social post when it publishes
* a review when a new version is ready or someone outside the workspace is invited
* an image, visual, or conversation an AI app reads through Daoco
* what Daoco sends to a connected app when it publishes there

The check runs in the background. It never blocks, holds, or delays sharing or
publishing, and you will not see it in the app. The same version is checked once.
An edit is a new version.

Text goes through Daoco's decision model. Up to eight still images go through a
vision model, which reads the image files themselves. Video, animation, and files
it cannot read are not inspected, and the check records why. Both models run
under the same privacy settings as the rest of Daoco's AI processing.

A model flag is a signal for Daoco to look at, not a finding that you broke the
rules. Checks are deleted after 90 days, or sooner with the brand.

## Report a problem

Email [support@daoco.org](mailto:support@daoco.org) with the Daoco link and what
is wrong. Do not attach suspected illegal imagery.
