# Connect beehiiv

> Connect beehiiv so daoco can read your newsletter performance and draft posts for you to send.

beehiiv is an **Available** Mail & Calendar integration. It uses beehiiv's own OAuth.

With beehiiv connected, daoco can read your posts, subscribers, and per-post stats, and create or edit draft posts. It cannot publish, schedule, or send: you review the draft and send it from beehiiv. Drafting needs a paid beehiiv plan; on the free plan daoco can only read.

## Connect beehiiv

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the beehiiv card">
    In daoco, open **Connections** -> **Integrations** -> **Mail & Calendar** and choose **beehiiv**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve OAuth">
    Choose **Connect**, sign in to beehiiv, pick the publication, and approve read and write access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify from chat">
    Ask [`/integration`](/connections/integrations#what-is-mcp) what worked in your last few posts before asking for a draft.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Every draft daoco creates in beehiiv asks for your approval first.

## Where it shows on Home

Once connected, the **Newsletter** area on Home lists the issues waiting as drafts in beehiiv. Performance numbers from beehiiv aren't shown there yet; ask daoco in chat for a beehiiv performance review.
