# Connect Mailchimp

> Connect Mailchimp so daoco can read audiences and campaign reports and prepare draft campaigns for you to send.

Mailchimp is an **Available** Mail & Calendar integration. It uses Mailchimp OAuth.

## What daoco can do

* Read audiences with member counts, month-by-month growth, segments, and tags.
* Read campaigns and campaign reports: emails sent, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, and bounces.
* Create and edit **draft** campaigns: audience or segment, subject line, preview text, from name, reply-to, and HTML content.
* Upload images to your Mailchimp File Manager for use in a draft.

daoco never sends, schedules, or test-sends a campaign. Every draft daoco creates or changes asks for your approval first, and the result links to the draft in Mailchimp, where you review and send it.

## Connect Mailchimp

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Mailchimp card">
    In daoco, open **Connections** -> **Integrations** -> **Mail & Calendar** and choose **Mailchimp**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve OAuth">
    Choose **Connect**, sign in to Mailchimp, and allow access for the account daoco should use.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify from chat">
    Ask [`/integration`](/connections/integrations#what-is-mcp) for your audiences or your last campaign's report before asking for a draft.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Disconnect

Disconnect Mailchimp from its card in **Connections**. To revoke access on the Mailchimp side as well, remove daoco from the apps connected to your Mailchimp account.

## Where it shows on Home

Once connected, Mailchimp fills two areas on Home: **Newsletter** shows audience growth, click rate per campaign, and drafts, and **Email** shows each campaign's clicks and unsubscribes.
