# Manage posts

> Review draft, queued, scheduled, published, and failed posts from the Manage Posts surface.

Use **Manage Posts** to inspect the lifecycle of social posts after they are created.

## What you can do

* Review drafts and queued posts.
* Check scheduled publish times and per-platform variants for multi-account posts.
* Inspect published posts and platform results, including posts imported by the daily [Social Platform Import Job](/core-workflows/social-platform-import-job).
* Find failed posts and read the error message.
* Open post analytics when metrics are available.
* Continue work in chat with the selected post as context.

## Post states

| State | What it means | Next action |
| --------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Draft | The post exists in daoco and has not been approved for publishing. | Edit, preview, schedule, or publish. |
| Queued | daoco is preparing or waiting to publish. | Watch for completion or errors. |
| Scheduled | The post is approved for a future time. | Review timing or cancel before it runs. |
| Published | The provider accepted the post. | Review results and analytics. |
| Failed | Publishing did not complete. | Read the error, fix blockers, and retry when appropriate. |

## Multi-platform posts

When one post has variants for multiple platforms or accounts, daoco groups those variants into one workspace item where possible. Use the platform chips and inspector details to review each variant's caption, media, schedule, delivery state, and analytics availability.

## Use with campaigns

Posts can be linked to campaigns so you can plan a rollout and review campaign-level progress. See [Campaigns](/core-workflows/campaigns) for campaign views and linked posts.
