Supported platforms

daoco supports the following platforms:
  • X (Twitter)
  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • LinkedIn
  • YouTube
  • Facebook
  • Threads
  • Bluesky

How to connect a platform

1

Open Connections

Navigate to the Connections page from the sidebar.
2

Find the platform

Locate the platform you want to connect in the social accounts section.
3

Authorize via OAuth

Click connect and follow the OAuth flow to authorize daoco. You will be redirected to the platform to grant permissions.
4

Confirm the connection

Once redirected back, verify the connection shows as active on the Connections page.

Platform-specific requirements

Some platforms have additional requirements:
  • Instagram: Requires a business or creator account. Personal accounts cannot be connected.
  • TikTok: Requires a creator account with posting permissions enabled.
  • Facebook: You must have admin access to the Facebook Page you want to post to.
  • YouTube: Requires a YouTube channel associated with your Google account.
  • LinkedIn: You can connect a personal profile or a company page you administer.
If you are unsure whether your account meets the requirements, try connecting it. The OAuth flow will show an error if permissions are missing.

Managing connections

View all connected platforms on the Connections page. From there you can:
  • View connection status: See which platforms are active.
  • Disconnect a platform: Remove the connection if you no longer need it.
  • Reconnect: If a connection expires or is revoked, click reconnect to re-authorize.

Reconnecting expired connections

Platform connections can expire when:
  • You change your password on the platform.
  • You revoke daoco’s access from the platform’s settings.
  • The platform’s OAuth token expires (varies by platform).
When a connection expires, daoco will show a warning. Go to the Connections page and click reconnect to re-authorize.

Troubleshooting

Connection fails during OAuth
  • Make sure you are logged into the correct account on the platform.
  • Check that your account meets the platform-specific requirements listed above.
  • Try using a different browser or clearing your browser cache.
Posts fail to publish
  • Verify the connection is still active on the Connections page.
  • Check that your account has not been restricted by the platform.
  • Reconnect the platform and try again.
Cannot find my page or channel
  • Make sure you have admin access to the page or channel.
  • For Facebook, ensure you selected the correct page during the OAuth flow.
