Automations let you save prompts that run on a schedule. The feature is owner-gated and off by default.

Enable Automations

1

Open Organization settings

Go to Organization Settings.
2

Enable Automations

In Preview Features, turn on Automations and save.
3

Open Automations

The Automations item appears in the sidebar when the flag is enabled.

Create a scheduled prompt

1

Open Automations

Choose Automations from the sidebar.
2

Create a new automation

Add a name, prompt, and schedule. Use clear instructions that can run without extra context.
3

Preview the schedule

Check the interpreted schedule before saving.
4

Save active or paused

Active automations can run when due. Paused automations keep their settings but do not run.

Review run history

Open an automation’s run history to see past runs, status, timing, and any errors. Use failed runs to refine the prompt or schedule.

Pause, resume, archive, or disable

  • Pause an automation when you want to keep it but stop future runs.
  • Resume it when the schedule should run again.
  • Archive it when it is no longer needed.
  • Turn off the Automations preview flag from Organization settings when the workspace should no longer use the feature.
