The Social Platform Import Job is a workspace-gated preview that runs a daily import of recent posts from your connected social accounts. It is off by default and does not publish anything — it only reads from connected platforms and creates published post records inside daoco.
Enable the import job
Open Settings
Go to Settings.
Enable Social Platform Import Job
In Preview features, turn on Social Platform Import Job and save.
Connect social accounts
Make sure the brand has the social accounts you want imported from Connections. The job only runs for connected accounts.
Only workspace owners and admins can change preview flags.
What the job does
When enabled for a workspace, daoco runs the import job once per day for each brand in that workspace:
- Looks back about 7 days for recent posts on connected accounts.
- Fetches native post content, media, and available metrics where the platform supports it.
- Creates or reuses published post records in daoco so you can review them in Manage Posts.
- Groups likely cross-platform duplicates — for example, the same launch posted to multiple accounts — into one multi-platform post when daoco is confident they match.
Imported posts are read-only snapshots from the provider. They do not change what is live on the social platform.
Supported platforms
The job uses your existing OAuth connections. Platform support depends on what each provider exposes for owned-account content listing:
| Platform | Import support |
|---|
| Bluesky | Supported |
| Facebook | Supported |
| Instagram | Supported |
| LinkedIn | Supported |
| Threads | Supported |
| TikTok | Supported |
| X | Supported |
| YouTube | Supported |
| Pinterest | Not supported in this preview |
Some platforms may return partial results or warnings when media, metrics, or older posts are unavailable. The job continues for other connected accounts when one platform fails.
Review imported posts
Open Manage Posts and filter to Published posts. Imported items appear alongside posts daoco published for you. Use the inspector to review captions, media, platform variants, and analytics when metrics were captured during import.
You can open imported posts in chat, link them to campaigns, or use them as reference when drafting new content.
Disable the preview
Turn off Social Platform Import Job in Settings → Preview features when you want daoco to stop future daily imports. Existing imported post records remain in Manage Posts.
This is a preview feature. Import coverage, grouping behavior, and platform capabilities may change before general availability.
