LinkedIn supports profile and company Page connection flows. Choose the flow that matches where Daoco should publish.

Open Connections

In Daoco, open Connections, choose Add Account, and select LinkedIn.

Choose profile or Page

Select the LinkedIn profile flow for member posting, or the Page flow when Daoco should publish for a company Page.

Approve LinkedIn OAuth

Sign in to LinkedIn and approve the requested permissions. Both flows ask for profile and Page permissions together, because LinkedIn gives Daoco one grant per LinkedIn member: the same grant then covers your profile and every Page you connect, in any brand.

Confirm the account

Return to Daoco and confirm the connected LinkedIn profile or Page appears in the connected accounts list.

Publishing to LinkedIn

A post that promotes a page, such as a blog post or one of your Pages, publishes as a link preview card with the page’s image, title, and site. LinkedIn shows the card only on posts without images or video. See Create posts to set or change the card. Once a post is published, View post and Copy link on the calendar open the post itself on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn OAuth vs browser session

LinkedIn uses two layers of access: A linked browser session also lets /research read LinkedIn profiles while signed in. Without one, LinkedIn shows research a sign-in wall, and research falls back to public profile data sources. OAuth alone is not always enough for browser-backed LinkedIn work. When Daoco needs the browser layer, it prompts you in chat with a browser auth card. The same layer supports selected UI tasks on other social platforms; see Browser automation.

When brand chat needs a LinkedIn browser session:

Start secure browser

On the LinkedIn browser auth card, choose to open the secure browser session. Allow popups for Daoco if your browser blocks the window.

Sign in on LinkedIn

Complete LinkedIn login or verification in the secure browser window.

Confirm in Daoco

Return to the card and confirm when login is complete. Daoco verifies the session and resumes the original request.
If enrollment is still in progress, Daoco can poll the session and complete auth when LinkedIn reports success.

Manage the browser session from Connections

In Connections, open the Browser tab and find the LinkedIn row to:
  • See whether the browser session is signed in, incomplete, or not signed in.
  • Review when the session was last used.
  • Sign in again with a clean session.
  • Remove the browser profile without disconnecting OAuth.
Removing it deletes the saved browser sign-in for that connection. OAuth stays connected, but Daoco will ask you to complete browser auth again before the next browser-backed LinkedIn task.

After connecting

  • You can connect the same profile or Page to more than one brand, including brands in other workspaces. Connecting or reconnecting with one LinkedIn sign-in renews every profile and Page that sign-in connected in brands you can still open, so reconnecting in one brand also fixes the others. A connection left in a workspace you have left is not renewed. Profiles and Pages connected before October 2026 are linked once you reconnect them.
  • Reconnect OAuth if LinkedIn reports a missing refresh token, expired token, or revoked access. Daoco also refreshes LinkedIn tokens before scheduled and immediate publishes when possible, so healthy connections stay publish-ready longer.
  • Review the LinkedIn preview before publishing because profile and Page posts can have different requirements.
  • For comment replies and other UI tasks, confirm the LinkedIn row on the Browser tab shows Signed in, or complete auth when chat prompts you.
