Transfer full ownership of your daoco organization to someone else. The new owner receives everything — branding, connected platforms, post history, and settings.

How it works

The current owner sends a transfer link to the new owner’s email address. The recipient signs in (or creates an account) and claims the organization. Ownership transfers instantly.
Each organization can only have one pending transfer at a time. Transfers expire after 7 days if not claimed.

Sending a transfer

Open organization settings

Navigate to your organization dashboard and scroll to the Transfer ownership section.

Enter the recipient's email

Type the email address of the person you want to transfer ownership to and click Transfer.

Share the claim link

daoco sends an email to the recipient with a claim link. The link is also copied to your clipboard so you can share it manually if needed.

What the recipient sees

The recipient receives an email titled with your organization’s name and a Review & claim button. Clicking the link opens the transfer claim page. From there the recipient will:
  1. Sign in with the email address the transfer was sent to (or create a new account).
  2. Review the organization details.
  3. Claim the organization by clicking the claim button.
After claiming, the recipient is redirected to the organization dashboard as the new owner.
The recipient must sign in with the exact email address the transfer was sent to. Signing in with a different email will not work.

Managing a pending transfer

While a transfer is pending you can:
  • View status — see whether the email was sent and when the link expires.
  • Copy the claim link — share it through another channel if the email didn’t arrive.
  • Resend the email — send the claim email again if it wasn’t delivered.
  • Revoke the transfer — cancel it before the recipient claims.

Requirements and limitations

Make sure the recipient knows to check their email (including spam) for the claim link. If the email doesn’t arrive, copy the link from the pending transfer section and send it to them directly.
